Sorrell Cowen

I am a Tropical Forest Ecology MRes student who joined the CALE lab in February 2021 to investigate whether the distance to range edge of mammal species affects their sensitivity to deforestation. This will use the global BioFrag dataset to understand incidence patterns of mammals, and the IUCN mammal ranges for species distribution. The area of focus will be the Neotropics, from Mexico to Argentina.

Completion of this study will be in September 2021.
